Pétillant Naturel – Natürlich Sprudelnd. Der gärende Wein wird bei 20-25g Restsüße ohne zusätzliche Hefegabe in Sektflaschen gefüllt und direkt mit Sektkorken und Agraffe verschlossen.
Rurale wird nicht degorgiert, es ist somit ein naturtrüber Schaumwein.
Rurale besteht einem Viertel Spätburgunder und Dreiviertel Riesling.
„The 2023 Rurale Extra Brut Pétillant Naturel, as it is referred to on the front label, with lot number Los-.Nr.: 0845, was made from Riesling (75%) and Spätburgunder (25%) fruit which was spontaneously fermented in old Fuder, before being bottled on April 4, 2024 (the date is provided on the back label), and finished its fermentation in bottle without any intervention and was released without disgorgement. This hay-colored wine offers a beautiful nose made of pear, a hint of spices, a touch of funk, bakery products, and a hint of chalk. It is superbly playful on the palate, where the fruity-spicy balance is remarkably underlined by a fine mousse. The finish is engaging, alluring, and yet complex and multi-layered.“ – Mosel Fine Wines
